Finally the Android update 4.3 Jelly Bean was rolled out to the Samsung Galaxy SIII about 1 month ago. Everything about updating the software seems easy enough. Just head into the ‘Settings’ app and find ‘About Device’, then click on ‘Software Update’. Then the magic is supposed to happen; the phone automatically downloads the software and updates the phone. But what happens when all you get is the error: ‘You may check again in: 24hours and 00minutes’? If you are impatient like I am when you know there is an update released for your phone there is an easy solution to the problem. First go into your ‘Date and time’ settings and uncheck ‘Automatic date and time’. Then set your date forward at least 24 hours from the current time. Finally go back and recheck for the software update. At this point the phone should find the new software and automatically start downloading it. I hope this helps to take care of your problem.
